Full Job Description:
As a Commercial Electrician, you will be responsible for carrying out electrical installations, maintenance, and repair work in various commercial properties. Working primarily on twilight shifts during school terms, your role will include ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards of safety and compliance. You will need to have strong experience working in commercial environments, with the ability to manage your workload independently and efficiently.

Responsibilities & Activities:

• Perform electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance across commercial settings, including schools and universities.
• Ensure all work complies with current electrical regulations and safety standards.
• Work effectively during twilight shifts to minimise disruption in educational settings.
• Inspect and test electrical systems, identifying potential issues and implementing appropriate solutions.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed, including service reports and certifications.
• Liaise with site managers, clients, and colleagues to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Respond to emergency call-outs as required and provide technical support where necessary.
• Ensure proper use of materials and equipment, maintaining safety standards at all times.

Requirements:

• ECS Gold Card.
• Proven commercial electrical experience.
• Ability to work independently on twilight shifts (15:30-23:30 during school terms).
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and regulations.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and a client-focused attitude.

Salary and Package:
Our client offers a competitive salary between 47.5k and 55k, based on experience. This position provides an excellent opportunity to work in commercial electrical services with career progression opportunities within a supportive team environment.
