About the role:
Clarke Energys Marketing department focuses on marketing strategy, analysis, research and communications. Global marketing and branding is coordinated by the Head Office and international teams have the responsibility for implementing these at local level. Marketing communications include both internal and external initiatives which includes the website content, intranet, exhibitions, events and conferences along with case studies and news. Marketing research and analysis includes evaluating global and regional trends, competitors and technologies. This information is then used to make business decisions, support the growth of the Company both organically and through potential acquisitions. The Marketing team also coordinates the Companys interactions with professional and trade bodies. The main purpose of this role is to create content and marketing campaign delivery.

Role & Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will be tasked with reporting on and generating stories and content across the business with a special focus on projects, service and general people related information. There will be a special focus in the support of key global team members and departments in the creation of stories to be used for online communications, press releases and broader lobbying. Support of the company brand by development of strong personal brands within the organisation to highlight and tell simple stories from complex information. This role will integrate with the groups marketing function and support the creation of content for the business across numerous marketing channels notably social media, press releases and internet.
-Develop and execute PR and marketing campaigns on pre-specified topics to drive company strategy.
-Key role in developing framework for yearly communications planning.
-Collaboration with multiple departments and regions across the wider business to deliver consistent content for social media, company website and press releases.
-Produce engaging technical and non-technical communications for internal and external audiences.
-Measure and analyse effectiveness of company communications and identify areas for continuous improvement.
-Support wider marketing team with other day-to-day activities.

Technical/Professional Knowledge and Skills:
Ability to create and write stories for external and internal audiences. Ability to do this for both technical readers and for the layperson would be beneficial
Ability to develop and drive marketing campaigns
Ability to develop a framework / plan for communication throughout the year on pre-specified key topics
Detailed understanding of social media and how to leverage for maximum effect for the business including both written and multimedia content
Ability to understand technical and engineering concepts and communicate to others with less understanding.
Ability to translate technical features of a product, project or initiative and to identify benefits and interest for target groups of the communication.
Technical press release development skills beneficial
Photography and movie creation skills beneficial
Ability to measure performance of content and take steps to improve future impact.

This is a full time permanent position, based in our Head Office in Liverpool. The role is a hybrid position and the working hours are Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours a week.
