We are looking for an Environment Advisor to join a high profile, leading organisation in the Liverpool area who have over 2000 employees. You will be joining an existing central team with growth, development and collaboration at their hearts. This is your chance to help the company achieve their environmental targets and promote a positive culture.

Responsibilities for the Environment Advisor will include:

  • Help with the development of environmental processes and procedures and ensure compliance with various policy and legalisations.
  • Support the group with delivery of the Environmental Strategy and create action plans to be able to achieve this
  • Assist with actions required for new permits and ensure all requirements are completed for any variations.
  • Acting as a point of contact for the environment and sustainability program with key stakeholders including clients and regulators.

The successful Environment Advisor will have:

  • Demonstrable environmental experience; ideally within waste, manufacturing or related heavy industry
  • Qualified to degree level, or equivalent, in an appropriate environmental discipline
  • Ideally hold a professional membership with a recognized environmental body (IEMA, CIEEM, CIWM,)
  • Have a passion for excellence, and an ambition to grow and develop a career within the environmental space.
