Due to our continued growth and success, we are looking for a dynamic Sales & Events Manager to join our team and take our event services to new heights.
Role Overview:
As our Sales & Events Manager, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our customer journey – from the initial inquiry to the day of the event. You’ll have the opportunity to meet with clients, understand their unique needs, and craft tailored packages that align with their vision. You will be responsible for upselling and cross-selling our event packages and coordinating all aspects of the booking process to ensure a seamless experience for every guest. With a target-driven mindset and a passion for hospitality, you will help us maximise bookings across our venues while delivering exceptional service that exceeds expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Respond to inquiries from prospective clients, provide in-depth information on venue options, and arrange viewings.
• Tailor event packages to meet client needs, effectively upselling and cross-selling services to maximise revenue.
• Develop strong, trusting relationships with clients to ensure high satisfaction and repeat business.
• Manage the booking process from initial inquiry through to event completion, coordinating with teams across food & beverage, facilities, and logistics.
• Work closely with marketing and operations to align sales initiatives with overall business goals.
• Track sales performance, generate reports, and adjust strategies as needed to meet or exceed targets.
Qualifications & Experience:
• Proven experience in sales and event management within hospitality, events, or a similar industry.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a natural talent for building client relationships.
• A proactive, target-driven approach with the ability to identify and act on upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
• Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple bookings and priorities.
• Knowledge of the Liverpool City Region market is a plus.
