12 month FTC - Finance Analyst Primarily home based role

(with ad-hoc requirement to be in Speke)

Up to £36,000 DOE

Accountable Recruitment are currently working with a large organisation based in Speke as they recruit for a Finance Analyst to join their team on a FTC. Working in the team of a large organisation, you will provide challenge and support to business areas to help deliver growth, partnering closely with Budget Holders and Senior directors.

Despite being an initial FTC, internal opporutunities are always coming up due to the high volume of projects and dynamic changes as the business evolves.

Key Duties:

  • Budgeting and Forecasting
  • Conduct detailed variance analysis to explain deviations from budgeted and forecasted figures, recommending corrective actions if necessary
  • Assisting in smooth month-end processes, posting Prepayments and Accruals
  • Reporting on financial performance, including identifying risks and opportunities
  • Analysis of large data sets
  • Building and maintaining relationships with internal Budget Holders & translating Finance data for non finance personnel
  • P+L analysis

Experience Required:

  • Strong Excel skills & adaptable to new systems
  • Experience of posting journals
  • Analytical eye for detail
  • Strong communication skills to build relationships with budget holders
