Finance Analyst

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Analysis: Analyse and interpret financial data to support decision-making. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts. Conduct variance analysis to compare actual performance against plans and highlight key insights.
  • Data Management: Work with large datasets to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Utilise advanced Excel skills and financial software tools to create detailed financial models.
  • Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and support strategic initiatives. Communicate findings clearly to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and recommend enhancements to financial processes and reporting procedures. Support the development and implementation of best practices within the finance function.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Educational Background:
    • Recent graduates or current ACCA/CIMA studiers are encouraged to apply.
  • Technical Proficiency:
    • Strong analytical skills with an ability to work with complex data.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential; experience with other financial software is a plus.
  • Communication & Teamwork:
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Personal Attributes:
    • A keen eye for detail, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
