We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior Financial Analyst to join my clients fast growing Finance team. Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, this role provides a unique opportunity to influence business strategy and growth by delivering key financial insights to the senior management team. You will be responsible for driving commercial performance, providing financial analysis and recommendations, and working closely with cross-functional teams to support business decisions.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Lead the Financial Analyst process for the business, providing key insights to help guide decision-making.
  • Prepare detailed financial models, forecasts, and business cases to support both strategic and operational objectives.
  • Oversee month-end close, ensuring accurate financial reporting and insightful variance analysis.
  • Partner with key stakeholders to track performance, challenge assumptions, and offer strategic financial guidance.
  • Identify trends and areas for improvement within financial data and collaborate with senior leadership to implement recommendations.
  • Manage and assess the financial impact of new business initiatives and projects.
  • Drive cost management initiatives to enhance business profitability and operational efficiency.
  • Lead ad hoc financial analysis to support business growth and expansion opportunities.

What We Are Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in a Financial Analyst role, ideally in a complex or fast-paced industry.
  • Strong financial modelling, forecasting, and business case development skills.
  • Deep knowledge of budgeting, cost management, and financial analysis techniques.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly and effectively to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Strong business partnering and stakeholder management experience, with the ability to challenge and influence decision-making.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience working with large data sets and financial systems.
  • Results-focused with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • A collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal skills, capable of working cross-functionally.
  • Advanced user of Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel (v-lookups, sum-ifs, pivot tables etc.)
