Your new firmA North West based Accountancy firm are seeking an experienced Audit Manager to join their team. Established in the market for almost 10 years, this firm are committed to delivering an excellent client service, with a personal and proactive approach. They provide services including accountancy, tax, audit, transactional services and more. Already established in other North West areas, this client are building their Liverpool presence and are seeking an experience Audit Manager to assist in building their team. This firm is going through an excellent period of growth and so there is great opportunity for progression. This firm also have a promote from within philosophy so opportunities will be available.

Your new roleAs Audit Manager, you will lead and manage audits for the firm for both local and potentially national clients. You will initially assist with completing audit files as well as managing and reviewing them as the team and firm grow. As well as statutory audits, you will also responsible for the preparation of accounts and corporation tax for audit clients and some larger groups and companies. You will also have potential to get involved with other aspects of accountancy such as forensic accounting and financial due diligence as this is firm with a varied portfolio of clients and excellent opportunities.

What you'll need to succeedThe ideal candidate for this role will have experience working within an audit team in a general practice, ideally at a manager or senior level. The ideal candidate will also have excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of an effective team and have a strong sense of accountability. Ideally you will be ACA/ACCA qualified or part qualified. Excellent organisational and time management skills will make you an excellent candidate for this role.

What you'll get in returnIn return, you will be offered a competitive salary between £50,000 and £64,000 dependent on experience.
