Business Operations Manager

Location: Remote 12 Month Contract

About the Role: We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Business Operations Manager to join our Business Operations Team. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of a 85 Million Dollar Budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement globally aligned processes for resource demand planning and forecasting.
  • Create and manage budgets and forecasts.
  • Analyse and report on GSPV operational and fiscal performance.
  • Provide training assistance for newly developed financial processes.
  • Support policies and procedures to streamline billing and collection processes.

Reporting Structure:

  • Reports to: Head of Business Operations
  • Positions reporting into this role: Business Operations Analyst

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Maintain the budget, focusing on forecasting, resource management, and financial review and reporting.
  2. Ensure the accuracy of global budgets before submission to Finance.
  3. Collaborate with key takeholders to incorporate necessary elements into the platform budget.
  4. Liaise with Finance to align GSPV program budgets with program strategy.
  5. Provide financial inputs into the R&D finance process.
  6. Prepare business analyses to support decisions, including functional resourcing models and vendor due diligence.
  7. Generate executive-level reports for the leadership team, ensuring accurate financial results.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Education: Degree in Business, Scientific, Medical, Pharmaceutical, or Financial discipline,
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years managing departmental budgets, with proven financial acumen and experience with industry tools (e.g., Ariba, SAP, Smartcore, BPC, Clarity).
  • Competencies: Advanced Excel and financial system expertise, independent problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
