• Onboard new clients, set up systems and recommend efficient workflows
• Oversee the preparation and delivery of management accounts
• Review bookkeeping and VAT returns prepared by team members
• Handle client queries and offer tailored, proactive advice
• Monitor WIP and billing across your own portfolio
• Build strong, lasting client relationships as their go-to contact
• Identify opportunities to upsell VFO services and contribute to business development
• Provide support, training, and oversight to junior team members
• Monitor departmental KPIs and help shape internal processes
• Contribute to planning meetings, offering insight and direction

• ACA/ACCA qualified or QBE with relevant experience in a similar role
• Hands-on experience with Xero, Dext, Syft and other cloud accounting software
• A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office apps
• Strong leadership skills and a genuine interest in team development
• Ability to juggle deadlines, priorities, and multiple clients with ease
• A client-focused mindset and a proactive approach to problem-solving
• A team player who is aligned with the values and culture of the firm

• £50,000 to £70,000 per annum
