Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Finance Business Partner, you will play a pivotal role in driving financial performance and supporting strategic decision-making. Your duties will include:
- Acting as a trusted advisor, building strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organisation.
- Delivering insightful financial analysis and reporting to influence business decisions and improve operational performance.
- Collaborating with department heads to prepare budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
- Supporting the development and implementation of financial strategies to drive cost efficiency and revenue growth.
- Conducting detailed performance reviews and identifying risks, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Providing financial modelling and scenario analysis to support investment decisions and long-term planning.
- Ensuring robust financial controls and compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Preparing and presenting financial information to senior management, ensuring complex financial data is communicated clearly and effectively.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A professional accounting qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent).
- Proven experience in a Finance Business Partner or similar role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and present complex data.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with a collaborative mindset.
- Proficiency in financial systems and tools, including advanced Excel skills.
- Hybrid working arrangement, allowing flexibility to work both remotely and from the Liverpool City Centre office.
