Management Accountant/ Temporary 3-6 months / Speke-Wavertree / Office Hybrid / up to £50,000

Hours 8.30-5pm (full time 37.5 hours a week)

Accountable Recruitment have partnered with a very Successful PE backed organisation located in Speke to find a Management Accountant to support the FC for the next 6 months. Reporting into the FD you will oversee and experienced finance team providing financial support at month and year end.
Key day to day duties will include:
- Purchase Ledger - backlog of invoices, quite a new team in that 2 of the 3 started in the last 6 months
- Supervision of the team, checking the work and ensuring the ledgers are clean and tidy
- Reconcile multiple larger supplier accounts
- Cleanse credits, unallocated cash etc. and focus the team on getting older queries sorted and the invoices on.
- Run with project on cost misallocation, implementing a monitoring process to improve correction of mistakes.
- Sales Ledger - Check billings with the Ops teams challenging rates are being charged correctly etc.
- Balance sheet - checking month end and spotting errors and fixing them before close off for month end
- Cost analysis - review costs and P&L of a number of high volume contracts.
The successful candidate must be:
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or part qualified
- Located locally to Speke or Wavertree
- Be hands on
