Finance Manager / Liverpool City Centre / Salary up to £50,000 + bonus + great company benefits

Are you an ambitious, hands-on Finance Manager looking for a new challenge? We are delighted to be working with one of our clients who are a rapidly growing organisation based in Liverpool, now looking to recruit a hands-on Finance Manager to join their high-performing team. With a growing annual turnover and multiple sites across the UK, this business has recently secured further investment to drive its continued expansion, making it an exciting time to join.

Key duties:

  • Due to impressive growth and future expansion plans, this Finance Manager role has been created to support the growing finance team. Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, you'll lead a small team, overseeing the preparation of month-end accounts and providing detailed financial insights on the performance of the business units.
  • Leading the month-end close process, you will prepare management accounts and delivering comprehensive P&L reviews.
  • Collaborate with Divisional Managers to provide commercial analysis and monitor costs and budgets.
  • Ensure strong financial controls and attention to detail.
  • You will drive further continuous improvement in systems and processes, including enhancing reporting from their newly implemented ERP system, and overseeing new payroll/expenses systems.
  • Managing payroll, you will also support with broader year-end audits and ad-hoc commercial analysis as requested from the leadership team.

Key skills:

  • Fully qualified ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
  • A results-driven and detail-oriented individual with a passion for improving financial systems and processes.
  • Tech-savvy with experience in financial software and a desire to drive efficiencies through automation.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and motivate a small finance team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join this growing business! Flexible hybrid working (2 days office based and 3 days WFH), with the option to work condense hours over 4 or 4.5 days if required.
