Reed recruitment have recently began working with a fantastic client based in Liverpool City Centre who are looking for a new Finance Manager to join their team. The right candidate will possess all the experience outlined below and be in a position to prepare, develop, and analyse key financial information while supporting the Finance Director in managing the finance team.

Responsibilities:
- Address inquiries from the parent company, colleagues, and third-party service providers.
- Manage the posting and reconciliation of all financial information.
- Prepare year-end statutory accounts in accordance with group and financial reporting standards.
- Generate month-end management accounts as per divisional requirements.
- Prepare calculations and reconciliations for quarterly VAT returns.
- Collaborate with finance teams and managers across the company's offices on various issues.
- Communicate with the broader technical team and offer guidance when necessary.
- Evaluate the financial impact of legislative changes and communicate accordingly.
- Ensure compliance with all aspects of sanctions and payments.
- Support internal and external audit activities, including direct communication with auditors, responding to queries, and providing necessary information.
- Perform any additional duties as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Professional qualification in accountancy or finance.
- Knowledge of exchange rate calculations and UK tax legislation.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and other Office software, as well as company-specific software as needed.
- Ability to meet deadlines and adhere to financial guidelines for both internal and external transactions.
- Provide a responsive, efficient, and accurate service to deliver timely information.
- Understanding the importance of governance and control.
- Strong organisational skills to manage workload and respond to emerging priorities.
- Willingness to embrace change and commit to continuous personal and professional development.
- Enthusiastic, self-motivated, well-organised, and capable of working independently.
- Team-oriented with a collaborative mindset.
- Familiarity with Solicitor Regulation Authority rules is a plus.
