Financial Reporting Manager / Liverpool (Hybrid) / Salary £65,000 - £70,000 plus a range of other great company benefits.

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Fully Qualified, Financial Reporting Manager to join our client who are a privately owned, high-growth business based in Merseyside. In this newly created role, you will be working amongst an experienced and friendly team, reporting directly into an impressive FD and managing 1 direct report.

Key responsibilities:

  • In this role you will be responsible for leading the project to bring in-house the currently outsourced statutory accounts production. You will be an experienced accountant, with good technical skills, tasked to ensure internal controls and processes are implemented effectively to support the growth of this growing group.
  • You will be comfortable working in this varied and hands-on role, producing statutory accounts for the group, consolidation of group entities and act as the main point of contact with external auditors, tax specialists and HMRC.
  • Support the FD with the development of financial reporting for investors and stakeholders.
  • Work alongside the Head of Finance to support with group wide system improvements and procedures.

Key skills:

  • Fully Qualified (ACA / ACCA) ideally with previous experience working in a similar role / Financial Controller or Audit background.
  • Experienced with the production of statutory accounts including financial reporting standards and an understanding of Taxation requirements.
  • Previous experience using IRIS software would be desirable but not essential.

Whilst this role is a full-time position, they operate a very flexible working pattern with the option for flexible start and finish times. You can also be based from any of the groups Merseyside, Cheshire or Halton offices (1-2 days week) with the flexibility to work from home the rest of the week.
