HW Finance are partnering with a market-leading retailer seeking an experienced FP&A Manager to drive financial planning, analysis, and strategic insight across the business.

The Role

As FP&A Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping financial strategy and decision-making. You will work closely with senior stakeholders to deliver insightful analysis, support forecasting and budgeting, and provide data-driven recommendations that enhance business performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the financial planning and analysis function, ensuring robust forecasting and budgeting processes.
  • Deliver commercial insights to support strategic decision-making across the business.
  • Develop financial models and scenario analyses to drive business performance.
  • Partner with key stakeholders across departments, providing financial guidance and challenge where necessary.
  • Monitor financial KPIs, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Support investment appraisals and business cases for new initiatives.
  • Drive continuous improvement in financial processes and reporting.

Skills and experience:

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with strong FP&A experience in a retail, FMCG, or multi-site environment.
  • Proven ability to translate complex financial data into actionable business insights.
  • Strong commercial acumen and stakeholder management skills.
  • Advanced Excel and financial modelling capabilities.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
