Adele Carr Recruitment is exclusively partnering with a dynamic, SME organisation in Liverpool who are keen to appoint a proven Group Finance Manager on a full time, permanent basis.

Providing daily support to the Group Finance Director, this is a crucial role within the team requiring you to work closely with key stakeholders and drive financial strategy, insight, and performance.

This is an autonomous role that requires the skills and qualities of a proven Finance Manager who enjoys being in the detail and being the 'go to person' in finance. You will produce the financial and management information that will drive strategic decision making and business performance.

You will champion finance across the business and ensure that processes are robust and fit for purpose. Accountants who are fully qualified (ACCA, CIMA, ACA), OR qualified by experience, will be considered.

The Finance Manager will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the Finance Director and senior leadership team with accurate financial reporting and analysis.
  • Producing management accounts, balance sheet reconciliation, inter company
  • Manage / lead projects and initiatives to improve financial processes, continuous improvement.
  • Delegating work, leading and coaching the team, ensuring all training is in place, sharing knowledge and ideas
  • Collaborating with various stakeholders to influence and achieve business targets.
  • Support the wider business in recommending change / leading projects and initiatives to improve financial processes, continuous improvement.

The ideal applicant, will be:

  • Available for permanent work in Liverpool
  • A qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA) or qualified by experience.
  • Familiar with being hands on and in the detail
  • Possess strong financial analysis and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.
  • Proficient leadership qualities
  • Capable of working well under pressure, meeting deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Knowledge of MS Excel, Sage and ERP
