Castlefield Recruitment are delighted to be working with a large Not for Profit organisation in Merseyside in order to recruit a Transactional Finance Manager on a permanent basis. This position offers a range of benefits including flexible working arrangements, hybrid working and a salary of £49,000.

Duties will include;

  • Support the effective and efficient management of the AP/AR processing functions, adhering to agreed service level agreements and processes
  • Manage, develop, and coach the direct reports to deliver services in line with company policies
  • Production and analysis of key performance indicators, driving a culture of continuous improvement
  • Ensure internal and external queries are dealt with promptly and effectively
  • Operate internal controls, rectify identified errors, and take appropriate action, enhancing internal controls where required

The successful candidate;

  • Experience in a similar position previously is essential – management of transactional staff
  • Strong knowledge of accounts payable and receivable processes
  • Ability to communicate clearly and explain complex financial matters to non-specialists 
  • Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders
  • Good attention to detail with ability to work under pressure, prioritising and managing a varied workload
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills
