An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Paraplanner to join a well-established and highly respected financial planning firm based in the North Liverpool area. This is a hybrid role offering flexibility and the chance to work with a team of Chartered professionals in a top 100 IFA firm.

The Role

The Paraplanner will play a key part in supporting Financial Planners in delivering high-quality advice to clients. This includes conducting in-depth research and analysis, preparing suitability reports, and helping formulate financial plans aligned to clients' needs and objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Researching and analysing financial strategies and products to support client recommendations

  • Preparing suitability reports and supporting documentation

  • Producing cashflow modelling and compiling financial data

  • Liaising with product providers and ensuring smooth follow-up of client requirements

  • Supporting Financial Planners with client presentations and annual review processes

  • Maintaining a high standard of compliance in line with regulatory requirements

  • Keeping up to date with legislative and industry changes

Requirements

  • Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (minimum)

  • At least three years’ experience in a financial advice practice

  • Minimum of one year paraplanning experience

  • Strong understanding of financial planning principles, products, and compliance standards

  • High attention to detail and excellent organisational skills

  • Willingness to occasionally travel for client meetings
