A national financial planning practice are looking for a Financial Planner to join them in a home based role for a firm in Liverpool.

Clients can be from £250k to £5m but there is no real upper or lower limit; it is dependent on client need and complexity of work. The Financial Planner will also be responsible for sourcing new clients, be that from existing referrals or business development. They have an active marketing function to look to develop further connections and referrals.

Role will include:

  1. Portfolio reviews with existing clients.
  2. Working with the retiring adviser on their client portfolio.
  3. Using cash flow modelling and lifestyle financial planning as required.
  4. Understanding a client's needs and having proficiency in more complex matters, especially IHT, VCT, EIS and SIPP/SSAS schemes.
  5. Maintaining up to date and compliant client files in conjunction with the technical team.
  6. Keeping up to date CPD
  7. Actively seeking out new client opportunities as required
