Are you an experienced Reach and Counterbalance Driver with RTITB certification? We have an exciting temporary opportunity for you!

About the Role: We are seeking skilled Reach and Counterbalance Forklift Drivers to join our dynamic team for a temporary position. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient handling of materials in a fast-paced warehouse or logistics environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operating Reach and Counterbalance Forklifts (RTITB trained/certified)
  • Loading and unloading goods from vehicles
  • Stacking and storing materials safely in designated areas
  • Conducting routine equipment checks and maintenance
  • Adhering to health and safety protocols
  • Supporting warehouse operations as needed

Requirements:

  • Valid RTITB Reach and Counterbalance Forklift certification
  • Loading and unloading of deliveries and collections
  • Quality checks of materials on arrival.
  • Order picking/physical handling of stock.
  • Accurate record keeping ensuring product traceability.
  • Accurately locate stock to the warehouse and input into computer system.
  • Managing visibility/ accuracy of stock through regular and robust PI checks (cycle counts ).
  • Escalate issues to Warehouse Manager, as appropriate.
  • Forward checking to ensure everything in place to prevent line downtime-materials, information etc
  • Completing Risk assessments and reporting accidents, incidents and near misses.
  • Always display warehouse best practices.
  • To ensure that all Health and Safety standards are maintained and that you always show due diligence. You should report any bad practices to the Health and Safety Advise.
