We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Primary ECT (Early Career Teacher) to join a supportive team within a high-achieving primary school in Sefton, L23.

This nurturing primary school is well located by various transport links and has an onsite car park. The school’s vision is to ensure the children’s learning is enriched by their community both inside and outside of school and families are actively encouraged to participate in school life.

Your role & responsibilities:

  • To ensure high-quality education for all pupils in a designated class and improve the quality of learning and standards of achievement
  • To carry out and meet the professional standards for teachers
  • Assess, monitor, record and report on the learning needs, progress and achievements of assigned pupils.
  • Adapt teaching to respond to the strengths and needs of all pupils including those with SEND
  • Administer end of Key Stage testing and assessment where appropriate
  • Establish a safe, purposeful and stimulating environment for pupils, rooted in mutual respect

Non-negotiables:

  • Must have a primary teaching degree with QTS
  • Must be able to provide a minimum of two teaching references within the past two years
  • Must possess good numeracy and literacy skills
