Your new firmA Liverpool based Accountancy firm are seeking to recruit an experienced Accounts Semi-Senior to join their team. This is a general practice which supports a range of clients from sole traders to multi-million pound companies. This is a great opportunity for someone to join a growing firm with excellent progression opportunities and a supportive network of colleagues who will encourage your professional development.

Your new roleAs Account Semi-Senior, you will be responsible for accounts preparation for a range of clients from sole traders to SMEs. You will manage your own portfolio of clients, complete VAT returns, year end tax returns and have general bookkeeping duties. You will work as part of an effective team to ensure client queries are managed and you will assist with the review and support of junior staff.

What you'll need to succeedThe ideal candidate for this role will have previous experience handling accounts for a range of clients and strong IT skills with experience in accounts software such as Xero, Sage, Quickbooks or similar systems. This candidate will need to be AAT or part ACA qualified. If you have strong leadership abilities and are keen to take on a guiding role within a team, this is an excellent opportunity.
