Job Overview:We are seeking a Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join the Therapy Inpatient Department at Aintree Hospital. The role focuses on delivering acute general therapy services to support patients' recovery, functional independence, and discharge planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct functional assessments and develop tailored rehabilitation plans

  • Provide therapy interventions to support mobility and daily living activities

  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient recovery

  • Support discharge planning, ensuring a smooth transition to home or further care

  • Maintain accurate patient records and contribute to care planning meetings

Requirements:

  • HCPC registered Occupational Therapist

  • Minimum 6 months NHS experience (mandatory)

  • Experience in acute inpatient settings or general rehabilitation

  • Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work independently and within a team
