Key Responsibilities:- Install and repair various types of ceilings, including plasterboard, suspended, and acoustic ceilings.- Measure, cut, and shape materials to fit specific areas.- Ensure that all work meets safety regulations and quality standards.- Collaborate with project managers, electricians, and other tradespeople.- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the installation process.
Requirements:- Proven experience as a Ceiling Fixer or in a similar role.- Strong knowledge of ceiling installation techniques and materials.- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.- Physically fit and able to work at heights.- Valid CSCS card and relevant safety certifications.
