Their aim is to offer advice on the best, quickest and most cost-effective methods for resolving Environmental, Planning and Permitting Issues.They work with many professional sectors, including property development, construction, investment and divestment, industrial, manufacturing, engineering, planning, energy, architectural, hospitality, construction and demolition. Although based in Liverpool, they work throughout the UK and Ireland, hence the location of this role is flexible.
Your new roleThey deal with a range of organisations across the food & beverage, consumer goods, metal treatment, energy & power, car manufacture sectors to name a few.Responsibilities:
- Prepare and submit environmental permit applications, variations, and surrenders.
- Liaise with environmental regulators and clients to ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
- Conduct site assessments and audits to monitor compliance with environmental permits.
- Provide technical expertise and support on environmental permitting and regulatory frameworks.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, regulators, and other stakeholders.
- Prepare high-quality reports and documentation to support permit applications and compliance activities.
- Stay updated on changes in environmental legislation and best practices.
What you'll need to succeed
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in environmental permitting, preferably within a consultancy or regulatory environment.
- Strong understanding of UK environmental legislation and regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in using relevant software and tools.
