We are excited to offer an opportunity for a HR Assistant to join our clients' team based in Liverpool. You will support the HR department in managing HR-related tasks and queries. This role offers a fantastic chance to develop your HR skills and be a key part of a growing business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Typing and proofreading policies and procedures, researching key parts when required.
  • Managing departmental correspondence including phone calls, emails, and letters.
  • Inputting data and producing reports (e.g., absence and leaver stats).
  • Managing office supplies and ensuring smooth office operations.
  • Arranging travel bookings for executives, employees, and company events.
  • Maintaining and updating staff records within the HR information system.
  • Handling HR documentation such as contracts, references, and filing.
  • Attending meetings and taking accurate notes.
  • Providing basic HR and recruitment support.
  • Assisting with mergers and acquisitions.
  • Acting as the first point of contact for HR queries related to recruitment, absence management, training, employee relations, performance management, and health & safety.
  • Promoting a positive image of the HR department in line with company policies.
  • Covering reception duties when needed.

  • Strong planning, organization, and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Administrative experience.
  • A quality, safety, and continuous improvement-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage business expectations.
