MOJ/OIC Fee Earner - Liverpool

Salary £30k minimum

I am currently representing a fantastic Liverpool based firm who have a new opportunity for an experienced MOJ/OIC fee earner to sit within their Multi Track team in Liverpool. These cases will be predominantly minor head injury cases and will be a mixture of Portal, Fixed and OIC Costs cases.

You will be experienced in handling RTA matters across both platforms (OIC/MOJ Portal) from inception to completion.Responsibilities include:

  • Managing a caseload at all stages of the MOJ & OIC Portal
  • Updating clients.
  • Assess quantum.
  • Understand and meet targets.
  • Understand and comply with the Civil Procedure Rules and Practice Directions.
  • Be able to identify issues in advance of Litigation.

About you:

  • Must be proficient in using the MOJ and OIC Portal
  • Have a good working knowledge of CPR and/or relevant case law
  • Good IT skills with a sound working knowledge MS Office.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to provide high-level client care
  • Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise and manage a varied caseload.
