Location: Liverpool

Salary: £26,950 Plus potential annual bonus     

Job Type: Permanent, Full Time

37.5 hours per week, 7.5 hours per day, Monday to Friday between the hours of 8am to 6pm with Bank Holiday work.

The role 

We are recruiting for a resilient and determined individual to work as part of a customer-focused team and proactively manage a portfolio of RTA claims (specialising in Fire and Theft) through to settlement.

The individual will ensure that complete and thorough indemnity investigations are carried out on all cases. You will work closely with the in-house Engineers to guarantee a fair settlement with the policyholder. Reporting to the Team Manager, this individual will ensure that all validated claims are processed without delay.

What you will be doing:

  • Aim towards excellent customer service level expectations and take ownership of all inbound communication
  • Prompt investigation on the ownership of the vehicle
  • Ensuring accurate payment to all Stakeholders on their claims
  • Attention to detail on all work done around the total loss aspect of the claim
  • Ensure thorough chronological record keeping of all activity within file claim notes
  • Ensure effective communication to Policyholder, including all claim decisions and progression, reducing the number of inbound calls
  • Maintain effective diary management to reduce settlement time
  • Expertly assess policy indemnity and identify fraud indicators
  • Endorse and drive the company values and behaviours

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience within Motor Claims, Fraud, or Insurance or Financial Services roles which include investigation work
  • Attention to detail, particularly within capturing customer information and data input
  • Strong customer service skills and an excellent telephone manner when dealing with customers.
  • Strong ability to remain professional and resilient when handling complaints
  • A motivated self-starter who is confident and a persuasive communicator
  • Confident within administration, data entry and system use
  • Ability to work as part of a team is essential
