We are looking to provide an efficient Maintenance Service to our client who is working in the FMCG sector. You will be experienced in working in a similar UK organisation and similar regulations.
The successful Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer will be working on one of our clients sites and will be providing an effective and safe engineering service. You will be working with the production team to ensure the smooth running of the operation.
You will be responsible for responding in an efficient and timely manner to the demands of the operation.
You as the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for maintaining the machinery and lines both proactively and reactively to ensure the factory performance always meets the targets and the set KPI's
You will always be looking to identify and implement improvements and actively improve machinery and equipment availability and performance to meet targets.
Shift Pattern: 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm and 10pm-6am - working 37 hours per week over 4.5 or 4 day week.
The Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer is required to have:-
- Qualified in Electrical, Mechanical and/or Electronic engineering.
- Recognised UK qualifications
- Quality standard of work at all times
- Ability to work well under pressure, to strict deadlines and targets
- Ideally Time Served
- Ability to work to policies and procedures including Health & Safety
- Must have previous experience working as a Maintenance Engineer
- PLC experience
- It is essential that you have previous experience working within manufacturing operations
- Experience within the similar industry with knowledge of lean techniques and processes
