Red Recruitment is recruiting a Renewals Agent to join our client, a growing business with great opportunities to build your knowledge of the financial services industry. They are a specialist insurance provider with over 40 years of experience helping people secure motor insurance across all of the UK.

This position is a fast-paced, customer-focused sales position working in a friendly, target-driven inbound sales environment. The salary is between 24,255 - 27,876 per annum and includes a 2,000 performance-related bonus. This role is located in Formby and is full-time.

  • Salary: 24,255 - 27,876 per annum including 2,000 performance related bonus per annum
  • Hours: 37.5 hours per week, 3 week rolling rota, hours between 8am - 8pm and 1 in 3 Saturdays 9am - 12.30pm

Key Responsibilities of a Renewals Agent:

  • Reviewing and allocating renewal invite lists
  • Checking policy data accuracy
  • Ensuring client records are updated appropriately
  • Handling inbound and outbound calls
  • Renewing policies compliantly
  • Responding to customer renewal queries

Key Skills and Experience of a Renewals Agent:

  • Previous sales or customer service experience is required
  • Insurance experience is preferable but not essential as full training will be provided
  • Excellent IT and data entry skills
  • Good communication skills is essential as you will be speaking to a variety of people
  • Excellent administrative skills, as well as great attention to detail
  • You should be a pro-active thinker, with the ability to solve problems independently
  • You should be able to work towards targets and KPIs
