Manual MachinistLiverpool £14.00 plus per hourTime Recruitment Solutions are currently working with a long standing company based in Knowsley, Liverpool.Having been established since early 2000's and offering a wide range of Fabrication and Precision Engineering they are now looking for a skilled and experienced Manual Machinist to join the team due to continued growth.PURPOSE OF JOB:Using a wide range of materials (stainless, mild steel, plastic, brass etc.) you will responsible for setting and operating Manual Turning/Milling machines to produce high quality components, to customer specifications and in line with our Quality Assurance Procedures, to engineering drawings.PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES* To manufacture parts to customer requirements.* To ensure that all parts are manufactured to specified tolerances by using suitable measuring equipment at the frequency specified in the Company's Quality Management System (QMS).* Taking details from customer drawings to produce components.* To select the appropriate tooling for set up and manufacture.* Ensuring that all parts conform to requirements by conducting first off inspection and in work inspections as required.* Perform changeovers between jobs, ensuring the machines are cleaned down and 5S is conducted.* To possess basic troubleshooting / fault finding skills to identify quality issues and provide remedial actions to overcome.* To clock on and off jobs using the Company's MRP system to allow accurate tracking of timing and costs.* Will perform other duties as directed.KNOWLEDGE SKILLS & EXPERIENCE* You will be a time served miller/turner with in depth knowledge of engineering, particularly around the manufacture of shafts/keyways.* Experience of CNC machines is preferred.* Accurately breakdown work and produce one offs.* Driven and dynamic with ability to think on your feet.SCHEDULE:* 8 hour shiftIf you believe you have the right experience and skillset for this role then please feel free to call Gary Gittings at Time Recruitment Solutions or simply click 'APPLY' to be considered.Time Recruitment Solutions Ltd is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
