Recruit4staff are proud to be representing their client, a plastic manufacturing company, in their search for an experienced Machine Operative to work at their Liverpool based manufacturing facility.
What our client if offering for the successful Machine Operative:
- £12 per hour
- £12.50 per hour (If you have a full in-date FLT Counterbalance Licence)
- Working hours, 7-7
- Shift Pattern: 4 on, 4 off (2 Days, 2 nights)
- Temp to perm opportunity
The Role - Machine Operative
- Loading & unloading of production machinery
- Carry out all tasks in line with health, safety and environmental procedures
- Ensure that products are being made to the correct standard/specification
- Complete hourly check sheets consistently and accurately
- Perform impact and quality tests
- Ensure that machines are running to the correct/optimised parameters
- Report machinery faults, process limitations and improvement ideas
What our client is looking for in the successful Machine Operative:
- Previous experience in a similar manufacturing machine operative role
- Experience of plastic extrusion - BENEFICIAL
- Full FLT Counterbalance licence - BENEFICIAL
- Hands-on experience within a production or manufacturing environment, specifically, setting up and operating production lines to specified parameters
- The ability to follow instructions and use initiative
- The willingness to learn and undertake training to expand your knowledge and expertise
