Your Role as a Night Senior Care Assistant

As a Night Senior Care Assistant, you will play an essential role in overseeing and supporting our night team, ensuring that residents' needs are met and high standards of care are upheld.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leading the Night Team: Supervise and support night care staff, offering guidance, motivation, and hands-on assistance as needed.
  • Direct Care Provision: Provide compassionate personal care for residents, including assistance with mobility, hygiene, and comfort throughout the night.
  • Medication Administration: Safely administer medications and keep detailed records to ensure proper dosage and compliance with protocols.
  • Health Monitoring: Regularly monitor residents' health and well-being, conducting checks, documenting observations, and responding to any changes in their condition.
  • Dementia-Focused Care: Engage residents with dementia in a manner that promotes their dignity and independence, understanding the nuances of dementia care.
  • Emergency Response: Act as the first responder in emergency situations, following protocols and contacting on-call medical staff or emergency services as needed.
  • Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate, up-to-date records for each resident to ensure continuity of care and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Family Communication: Provide families with updates as required, ensuring transparency and reassurance about their loved ones' care.
