To be successful in this role, you'll need:

• Experience working in schools, supporting children with ASD or other Special Educational Needs (SEN).

• The ability to work effectively on a 1:1 basis or in small groups, tailoring your approach to meet individual needs.
• A proactive and resilient mindset, with a commitment to fostering independence and growth in children with ASD.

As an ASD Teaching Assistant, you'll play a key role in the classroom and beyond, including:

• Providing tailored support to children with ASD, helping them to engage with their learning and develop their social and emotional skills.
• Collaborating with teachers, therapists, and parents to create individualized support plans.
• Encouraging positive behavior, promoting confidence, and ensuring a safe and inclusive environment.
• Assisting with classroom activities, interventions, and structured routines.
• Celebrating each child's achievements, no matter how small, and empowering them to reach their full potential.
