Higher Level Teaching AssistantÂ

£95 - £110 per day (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications)

We are looking for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to work in a friendly primary school in Kensington, Liverpool. Working as part of an established team, the desired Higher Level Teaching Assistant will be supporting in across KS1 and KS2, as well as covering PPA lessons across the whole school.
The activities for the class will be pre-set and the work will be left for you to deliver. The role would be Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 3.30pm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the teaching and learning process, ensuring a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Assist in the assessment and recording of pupil progress.
- Work collaboratively with class teachers and other support staff to deliver a broad and balanced curriculum.
- Contribute to the planning and preparation of learning activities.
- Provide targeted support to individual pupils or small groups, as required.
Requirements:
The desired Higher Level Teaching Assistant will have;
- HLTA qualification or status, or an Early Career Teacher (ECT) looking to gain experience.
- Proven experience working in a primary school setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A commitment to fostering a positive learning environment and promoting high standards of achievement.
- Have, or be prepared to undergo an Enhanced DBS check
