The School and Role

This busy and friendly, two-form entry Primary School in the Aintree area, Liverpool, are looking for a passionate and driven Teaching Assistant to support the teacher in a KS1 class of 21 students. The role will start immediately, and will be ongoing through to the next Academic year. This primary school is a 'learning community', and how they work and grow together is more important to them, than what they do. They believe that it is the ‘how’ they do things that characterises the most successful schools. Children learn with the support that they need to thrive and without discrimination at all times, and as a professional community, the school meet the needs of all their children as well as they can.  They ensure that they do not allow any child to be discriminated against or experience discrimination without a direct intervention.

Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Experience with children and/or young people
  • A Teaching Assistant Qualification is desirable, but not essential
  • Proactive, personable with a real positive can-do attitude
  • Have a DBS on the update service or willing to obtain one
