Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant who is passionate about supporting children with special educational needs and disabilities?  

Vision for Education are working with a welcoming Primary school based in the Toxteth area, who are looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant to join their team in January 2025. The role will be supporting a child with special educational needs (SEN), within KS1. The school have a high demand for Teaching Assistants who are committed to inclusion, and are able to demonstrate their commitment to child development. The successful candidate will be pro-active and engaging, with a strength in positive behaviour management.

The position is full-time, Monday-Friday, beginning in January 2025 and is confirmed until the end of the academic year. There is the opportunity for this role to go temporary-to-permanent for the right candidate. 

Requirements

The desired SEN Teaching Assistant will have;

  • Experience of working with children
  • Experience working with children with a SEND background/on a 1-1 basis
  • A passion for the progress of secondary school pupils
  • An ability to work as part of a team
  • Have, or be prepared to undergo an Enhanced DBS check
