Key Responsibilities
- Classroom Support: Collaborate with the classroom teacher to deliver engaging lessons and keep students focused and motivated.
- Cover Classes: Step in to lead the classroom during a teacher's absence, ensuring a positive and productive learning atmosphere.
- Interventions: Facilitate small and large group interventions, focusing on essential skills in literacy and numeracy, tailored to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Behaviour Management: Implement effective behaviour management strategies to promote respect and a safe learning space.
- Support Individual Needs: Provide targeted support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), ensuring inclusivity in all activities.
- Communication: Maintain open communication with teachers, parents, and support staff, sharing insights on student progress and any concerns.
- Safeguarding: Uphold the school's safeguarding policies to ensure the well-being of all students.

Qualifications and Experience
- Qualifications: Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum of 12 weeks working with children in a UK school setting.
- Training: Up-to-date safeguarding training within the last year is desirable; some training will be provided.
Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for this role, you must:
- Hold the Right to Work in the UK.
- Possess an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to apply for one.
- Provide two professional references related to childcare or educational settings.
