SEN Teaching Assistant (PartTime)

Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant who is passionate about supporting children with special educational needs and disabilities?  A welcoming Primary school based in the Speke area, who are looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant to join their team after February Half-term. The role will be supporting children with special educational needs across key stages who have SEMH needs. The school value and care for every member of their school community and work as a team to ensure that pupils are the best that they can possibly be. The successful candidate will be pro-active and engaging, with a strength in positive behaviour management. The position is part-time, working Thursday and Friday each week and is confirmed until the end of the academic year. There is the opportunity for this role to go temporary-to-permanent for the right candidate. 

Requirements

The desired SEN Teaching Assistant will have;

  • Experience of working with primary aged children.
  • Experience working with children with a SEND background/on a 1-1 basis
  • Have, or be prepared to undergo an Enhanced DBS check
