Job Role
Teaching Assistants play a critical role in supporting both students and teachers. In a secondary school setting, your responsibilities could include:
- Assisting teachers with whole-class activities.
- Running small group interventions or one-on-one support sessions.
- Helping students with varied needs, including academic, social, or emotional challenges.
Requirements
- Passionate about supporting and inspiring young people.
- Committed to improving outcomes for secondary-aged students.
- Kind, proactive, and collaborative.
- Willing to undertake required training and ongoing professional development.
- Be committed to completing the required training and participating in ongoing CPD
- Be willing to pay for an enhanced DBS check and register with the Update Service
