Job Role

Teaching Assistants play a critical role in supporting both students and teachers. In a secondary school setting, your responsibilities could include:

  • Assisting teachers with whole-class activities.
  • Running small group interventions or one-on-one support sessions.
  • Helping students with varied needs, including academic, social, or emotional challenges.

Requirements

  • Passionate about supporting and inspiring young people.
  • Committed to improving outcomes for secondary-aged students.
  • Kind, proactive, and collaborative.
  • Willing to undertake required training and ongoing professional development.
  • Be committed to completing the required training and participating in ongoing CPD
  • Be willing to pay for an enhanced DBS check and register with the Update Service
