Hours: Monday to Friday

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and Lead:Manage a team of cleaners, ensuring they follow cleaning schedules and maintain high standards of cleanliness.
  • Quality Control:Inspect and evaluate cleaning work to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Inventory Management:Monitor cleaning supplies, order replacements, and maintain inventory levels.
  • Training and Development:Train new cleaners and provide ongoing coaching to improve performance.
  • Communication:Collaborate with school staff, addressing any cleaning-related issues promptly.
  • Health and Safety:Ensure all cleaning activities adhere to safety guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Experience:Previous experience in a supervisory or lead role within a cleaning team.
  • Organisational Skills:Ability to manage schedules, prioritise tasks, and oversee multiple areas.
  • Attention to Detail:Keen eye for cleanliness and quality control.
  • Communication:Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Flexibility:Willingness to adapt to changing needs and work outside regular hours if required.
  • DBS Check:Successful candidates will undergo a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
