Your New Role

As HR Manager you will support across the full range of HR activity, from recruitment, employee relations, payroll, process improvement, policy work, HR project work and general HR administrative support, across the full employee lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the first point of contact for HR advice, ensuring compliance with HR policies and procedures.
  • Support with investigations, disciplinaries, performance, and absence management.
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including safer recruitment.
  • Oversee payroll and in-house pensions administration, including end-to-end payroll processing and managing queries.
  • Support on HR Project Work.
  • Wellbeing Lead.
  • Maintain and improve HR systems, including HRIS implementation.
  • Develop and report on HR metrics, including gender pay gap and absence data.
  • Provide HR administration support, including handling T&Cs, flexible working requests, and maintaining employee records.

What You Will Need

  • CIPD Level 5 qualified.
  • Minimum 3 years of HR experience, with at least 1 year in a management role.
  • Strong knowledge of HR processes, policies, and HR systems.
  • Proficient in IT systems.
  • Approachable, pragmatic, and able to handle a busy and changing workload.
