HR Services Specialist - Championing Exceptional Employee ExperiencesLocation: Liverpool

Are you passionate about delivering outstanding HR support that puts employees and stakeholders first? Do you thrive in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same? Join my client as a HR Services Specialist, where you'll play a pivotal role in shaping a growing business.

What You'll Be Doing:In this role, you'll:

  • Deliver Exceptional Service: Provide accurate and timely HR administrative support for onboarding, changes to employment, benefits, payroll processes, and offboarding.
  • Be a Knowledge Leader: Act as the go-to expert in at least one HR service area, guiding and coaching team members while resolving escalated issues.
  • Streamline Processes: Take the lead in identifying and implementing improvements to enhance service efficiency and quality.
  • Collaborate & Innovate: Work closely with the wider People Services and HR teams to align services with business needs and contribute to our change journey.
  • Ensure Compliance: Maintain accurate employee records while adhering to data protection laws and company policies.

What We're Looking For:Essential Skills & Experience:

  • A customer-first mindset with a strong understanding of the importance of a great employee experience.
  • Solid knowledge of the full hire-to-retire lifecycle, including procedures and policies.
  • A working knowledge of employment law to handle employee queries effectively.
  • Experience as a subject matter expert, coaching others in HR processes.
  • Proactive involvement in reviewing and improving HR processes.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to handle high volumes and tight deadlines.
  • A solution-focused, "can-do" attitude with excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

  • Experience in a shared service environment.
  • Familiarity with HR Information Systems and shared services tools such as case management, telephony, and electronic document management systems. (Oracle experience is a plus!)
