Resourcery Group are working with a well known international company with a large footprint in the UK to bring on board a HR Business Partner. This is a 12 month fixed term contract position based in Liverpool on a hybrid basis (3 office/2 WFH). The HR BP position is a pivotal one for the company during a period of restructuring. Our client offers a competitive benefits package with 25 days holiday, flexi days and an excellent pension contribution. This role will give you great exposure to senior stakeholders across the business whilst the business goes through a period of TUPE exercises.

Working as part of a large team of HR BP’s you will work to support the delivery strategic people plans.

The HR Business Partner role will entail:

  • Providing excellent service and ensuring that customers feel a real sense of ownership of their issue. Adopting a ‘coaching to answers’ approach coaching managers to resolve issues to increase manager capability and confidence.
  • Encouraging a culture of business ownership and accountability for people management practices ensuring people policy and procedures are embedded to enable outperformance. 
  • Providing a deep knowledge of People policy and practice and generalist business partnering.
  • Challenging the structure and delivering organisation design changes.
  • Building collaborative and supportive relationships across the people function and with Leaders. You will lead & contribute to HR projects, as appropriate, providing input, feedback and insight into how projects will work / impact the business.
  • Providing delivery support for cyclical processes and new products owned by the Centres of Expertise supporting Strategic Business Partners in rolling out new HR initiatives and tools.
  • Sharing ideas across the People Relationship Team and HR more broadly, trying to eliminate duplication of work and effort.
  • Optimising the delivery of a consistent employee proposition, whilst ensuring adherence to legislation and market practices.
  • Using HR levers and work within the People  Function operating model to establish plans and programmes to build and deliver a range of consistent and quality HR processes, systems and services.
  • Providing insight and feedback into the People Function on leadership capability, the effectiveness of the people proposition and the employee voice.

Ideal candidate:

  • Have strong TUPE experience from end to end
  • Have solid experience in Employee Relations
  • Have the ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Strong HR generalist experience
  • Proven track record of developing and delivering high quality HR services
  • Be able to analyse complex problems and to deliver insights, practical and sustainable solutions
