Job Title: Governance OfficerJob Purpose:Manage ISO accreditation and industry standards, focusing on Business Continuity and Information Security.Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Act as Business Continuity and Information Security Manager.
  • Assist in managing compliance frameworks, policies, and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
  • Maintain ISO standards compliance.
  • Conduct gap analysis, risk assessments, and implement controls.
  • Manage policy reviews, draft new policies, and handle version control.
  • Liaise with external regulators, assessors, and auditors.
  • Oversee continuous improvement and audit remedial actions.
  • Contribute to business continuity and disaster recovery planning.
  • Support strategic objectives while ensuring compliance.
  • Collaborate with the Risk and Compliance Manager on compliance frameworks.
  • Monitor and report compliance, analyse exceptions, and suggest improvements.
  • Provide training and advice on regulatory and compliance matters.
  • Attend relevant forums and committees.
  • Travel to other offices as needed.

Experience & Knowledge:

  • Understanding of ISO 27001, ISO 22301, and ISO 9001.
  • Attention to detail and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in IT/case management.
  • Experienced with business continuity and information security.
  • Ability to identify risks and provide clear feedback.
  • Compliance/audit qualification or willingness to obtain one.
