Job Title: IT Logistics Assistant

Salary: to £24,000

Location: Liverpool L13

Due to working with sensitive data, a full DBS background check will be required.

Key Competencies:

  • Good IT skills including:

o general use of Windows based PCs, the Internet and email

o the use of Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel.

o Familiarity with Android based product.

  • Good organisational skills.
  • Good verbal and written communications skills.
  • Well organised and presentable to customers.
  • Able to talk with customers on the phone and face-to-face.
  • Able to work with minimal supervision and within a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Setting up new equipment for deployment.
  • Correct handing and correct storage of equipment. This will include some manual handling including lifting and moving equipment and stock.
  • Accurate recording of equipment information and movement tracking.
  • Servicing returned equipment including minor repairs and fault finding.
  • Handling of incoming surface mail.
  • Maintaining the security, integrity and confidentiality of data and information to which they are provided access during the course of their work.
  • Supporting staff with administration tasks.
  • General office duties as directed by senior staff.
  • Maintain an awareness and actively comply with the current Information Governance (IG) and Information Security (IS) standards and policies in force.
  • Achieve the required standard when examined, following mandatory in house or role specific online training.
