Warehouse Systems Analyst

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse System Business Analyst to lead the implementation of a new warehouse management system as part of an organisation-wide ERP solution (SAP). This role is pivotal to ensuring the successful deployment and adoption of the system, enhancing warehouse processes for inbound, outbound, and general operations.

The successful candidate will collaborate with the wider project team, ensuring the system's functionality is fully implemented from testing through to go-live. They will also support process optimisation, improve reporting, and engage with warehouse operatives to ensure a smooth transition to automated workflows.

The Candidate;

  • Strong IT proficiency, particularly with Microsoft Office, WMS, and SAP systems.
  • Previous experience within a logistics, warehouse projects team
  • Proven project management and planning skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
  • In-depth understanding of inbound, outbound, and reverse logistics.
  • Experience with warehouse operations, including goods receiving, picking, packing, and dispatch.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret and present data effectively.
  • Outstanding critical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organisation.
  • A proactive, hands-on approach with a growth mindset and a passion for learning.
  • Resilient, adaptable, and able to navigate conflicting work demands.
  • Skilled in influencing and achieving positive outcomes, managing change, and resolving conflicts.

Duties and Responsibilities;

  • Lead SAP testing to confirm the warehouse management system meets operational requirements.
  • Conduct gap analysis to identify required process changes and manage their implementation.
  • Document updated warehouse management processes in preparation for go-live.
  • Assist in configuring the warehouse system, including physical setup and loading static and dynamic data during test and live phases.
  • Develop and deliver training programs for warehouse teams, ensuring successful system adoption.
  • Drive full utilisation of system benefits to boost productivity.
