Overview

One of the Northwest's leading Managed IT Service Providers is looking for 2nd Line IT Support Engineer to join its growing team to provide expert technical support for a range of clients. This position provides a fantastic opportunity to be involved in an exciting combination of BAU support, transformation projects, and infrastructure maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • As a 2nd Line IT Support Engineer you will provide 1st, 2nd and lower 3rd line (onsite & remote) support for client IT issues.
  • Administer and maintain Windows Servers.
  • Administer Azure environments.
  • Manage and support the Office 365 stack, including Exchange Online, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint.
  • Setup and manage devices using Intune and Jamf
  • Build and administer virtual servers, in both VMware and Hyper-V.
  • Support Windows and macOS devices
  • Setup and troubleshoot networking equipment (routers, switches, VPNs, etc.).
  • Provide support on an exciting range of projects
  • Work closely with 1st line support to ensure seamless escalation and resolution of issues.
  • Document procedures, processes, and technical configurations.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience in a similar technical support role within an MSP or similar environment.
  • Windows Server administration.
  • Experience in Office 365 administration, including Exchange Online, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint.
  • Azure AD/Entra ID administration.
  • Solid understanding of VMware and Hyper-V.
  • Experience troubleshooting networking components, including routers, switches, and VPNs.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
